Mar 27, 2018 · It appears that the issue is my password. Yahoo does not recognize my password and redirects me to Verizon to reset it. Resetting my Verizon password only changes my fios account and not my Verizon Yahoo account. I am stuck in a loop without any way to change my password or get Yahoo to accept the password I have always used.

Mar 24, 2020 · My email was working fine until yesterday. I have a Verizon.net account which is somehow related to yahoo. Anyhow, if I try to change the server settings I get the spinning circle of death with a message “we’re getting things ready” and then a failure to connect to the server. Same thing happens if I try to change my password.

May 15, 2016 · It redirected me to the ATT site and I changed my password. When I log into the mail portal via att.net login screen, I use my new password. When I log into the mail portal via mail.yahoo.com, it accepts my old password. My email client Outlook has no problem sending or receiving using my old password (it logs in through the yahoo domain)

Trying to run REPAIR on Outlook results in a continuous cycle of dialog boxes opening and looking for the password for the incoming and outgoing servers.
