Samsung S4 Email Login Failed

Dec 05, 2014 · Member. 12-04-2014 07:22 PM. I started getting sign in failed notifications on my Galaxy S4 today saying the server password has changed and to enter the new one. I did not change anything. I can still access the app and send and receive e-mails but the notification keeps popping up.

Jul 31, 2020 · I have tried literally everything. Resetting my phone, trying to change my Yahoo account security settings, deleting cache data. Nothing has worked. I tried logging in on the Samsung Email with a Google account and that works. I tried two Yahoo accounts and neither of those worked so I think the issue is the with the Samsung app itself.

These “sign-in failed” notifications pop up regularly every 30 minutes on the single-finger pull-down list (with the accompanying Notifications sound !?!?!).
