MyWestern Access To access your MyWestern Student Portal account, click on the MyWestern link with the padlock icon above or click here. Note: If you are attempting to access MyWestern from home, you will need to enter your username as western\username along with your normal password.

The MyWestern (opens in a new window) student portal is a point of entry to the applications, systems and notifications you’ll need at Western Sydney U.. It’s where you can go to check your email, access student systems and stay up-to-date with important news and events. As development on MyWestern continues, you’ll notice the content becoming more tailored to you.

Access Your New Mailbox Western uses Microsoft 365 for email, cloud storage, and other office and productivity/collaboration apps. Go to office.com for the full Microsoft 365 portal, or to outlook.office365.com to go straight to your mailbox. All students, faculty and staff have access to an @wwu.edu email account that is part of Microsoft Office 365. If you are new to WWU, you may need to activate your computer account if you have not already done so. G Suite accounts are optional tools offered in addition to Office 365, enabling access to Google Drive, Docs, and other applications. Your G Suite account does not replace Outlook email, contacts, calendaring or OneDrive, but instead provides additional tools that may be helpful for personal productivity and instruction. You can sign-in to your G Suite account by browsing to www.google.com.

Accounts Passwords and Access. Most systems at Western, including the Canvas, email, Office 365, the wireless network, and major online services are accessed via a person’s universal username and password. Generally you will be able to access these systems using your universal username and password from on or off campus.
